CPCB Graduate Awarded Honorable Mention for SCS Dissertation Award
Yang Yang, a recent CPCB graduate from Jian Ma's lab, was awarded an honorable mention from the . This distinction is presented annually by the School of Computer Science in recognition of outstanding work by a graduate student.
Yang defended her dissertation, "Computational Methods for multi-species comparison of 3D genome organization and function", in December 2020. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher in lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
