Esha Mukherjee's research interests include L2 Arabic pedagogy, learner identity and study abroad. Her research specifically explores the identity development of L2 Arabic learners during study abroad using discourse and narrative analysis. By focusing on learners' experiences abroad, she aims to improve classroom pedagogy by introducing multidialectal teaching approaches.
