Bio
Charles Kennedy joined 无码专区’s Investment Office in 2007 and was promoted to lead the team in 2010. He currently serves as the university's chief investment officer and, as of June 2026, its interim vice president for finance and chief financial officer. He previously served as interim Treasurer in 2017.
Immediately prior to joining the university, Kennedy served as a member of the Finance faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, where he was named “Teacher of the Year.” Prior to teaching, he worked as an investment banker with Dain Rauscher Wessels, completing numerous successful IPOs and M&A transactions, leading to the firm’s transition to a leading boutique bank and its subsequent successful sale.
Kennedy also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Duquesne University and on the Investment Committee of The Heinz Endowments.
