Tuition & Funding

We know that this is a big investment and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to make the commitment to your future. Below are details about tuition assessment and funding options.

Tuition Assessment

Once we register you for your courses, your tuition will be available the following buisness day (scholarships will show in another week) and an invoice will be available at the end of the month. Details on what to expect, and how to access the information, is below:

  • You submit the Intent to Enroll form
  • Registration starts mid-June for the Fall.
  • Once registered, you can view your tuition balance as follows:
    • Log into SIO with your AndrewID and password
    • Click on “Finances” in the top menu and choose “Student Account Activity” in the drop down menu
    • Please note: If you were awarded a partial scholarship or fellowship at the time of admission, you must first complete the Student Financial Obligation (SFO) form  which indicates that you agree to pay the tuition assessed. Once you have submitted this form, your scholarship or fellowship will be applied within a few days.
  • On the last day of the month, a tuition invoice will be created. To view your invoice:
    • Log into SIO with your AndrewID and password
    • Click on “Finances” in the top menu and choose “Student Invoices” in the drop down menu

Making a Tuition Payment

Scholarships/Fellowships

Scholarships are awarded at the time of admission and details can be found in your award letter in the application system. Scholarships cover only part of the tuition; there are no full tuition awards. Be sure to to see the remaining tuition due.

In addition, scholarships/fellowships are awarded per course. In the event that you waive or drop a course, the associated scholarship will be forfeited as outlined in your admission letter.

All students are required to complete the Student Financial Obligation which indicates that you agree to pay the tuition assessed. Once you have submitted this form, we will have your scholarship applied within a few days.

Payment Plans

Students can set up a monthly payment plan through Nelnet, allowing tuition to be divided into multiple payments throughout the semester.

  • Enrollment for Fall 2026 will open on July 5
    • The earlier you enroll, the more months you’ll have to pay, helping you make the most of this option.

Financial Aid & Private Loans

Students pursuing a graduate certificate are not eligible to receive federal financial aid. However, private loans are a viable alternative to consider with competitive interest rates and borrower benefits. See , a free loan comparison service to easily research options.

Employer Tuition Reimbursement

Many companies offer tuition reimbursement programs to foster professional development among their employees. We encourage you to contact your HR department to find out if similar opportunities exist at your workplace.

In the event that you need specific documentation or information to qualify for tuition remission with your organization, reach out to your Program Specialist for assistance. We are happy to create customized materials that align with your organization's requirements to ensure that you maximize your employee benefits.

Sponsored Billing

Students may use Sponsored Billing, which allows you to authorize your employer or another entity to pay your bill directly on your behalf. Learn more about setting up a sponsored billing agreement.

Spring Sponsored billing authorization forms must be submitted no later than August 15 for the Fall term.
